National School Garden Map Info Session – 4/8/26
Join the SGSO Network for an interactive informational webinar on our newly launched National School Garden Map!
The SGSO Network engaged national and regional partners to synthesize school garden data and create an interactive map for public use on EcoRise’s Gen:Thrive mapping initiative.
In this webinar participants will learn more about how the map came about and will receive a guided workshop on how to use the map, add or update their information, and ways to interact with it.
Check out the National School Garden Map page
If you’d like to join the map:
- Please check first if your school garden or organization is already on the map.
- If you aren’t, complete this data intake form to add yourself on the map.
- If you are, check the data to make sure it’s up to date. If not, fill out the data intake form and indicate you’re updating data.
- If you have multiple sites you’d like to provide data for at once, contact Daniel Barrera Ortega, Program Coordinator at the SGSO Network, at daniel@sgsonetwork.org for next steps.
This project was done in partnership with Edible Schoolyard, KidsGardening, the National Farm to School Network, and EcoRise. We also thank the USDA and Sprouts Healthy Communities Foundation for generously funding this project,
