How to Structure Impactful School Garden Professional Development

From full day workshops to short mini trainings, there are many ways to provide in-person professional development to teachers and educators so that they can confidently conduct garden-based education.
This webinar will dive into two methods: professional learning communities and multi-day workshops. We'll hear from two programs in different parts of the United States.
First will be from Ashley and Sara of Prescott Unified School District. They will explore ways of organizing and facilitating a professional learning community which engages local partners, fosters knowledge-sharing, and responds directly to the needs of the community.
Next we'll hear from Friends of the National Arboretum. where Ashley & Allie will share their responsive training strategies for their 4-day summer professional development for D.C. teachers, and give a behind the scenes view of how they collaboratively plan for it.
